I need to CLEP an elective. I just completed American Government today (passed) and would like one that is interesting AND most importantly, EASY as it is the very last thing I must pass to graduate. Any advice is MUCH appreciated.
Thanks Kat |

Hi Kat, how about Intro to Psychology. I found that one of the easist and IC is sufficent for this exam. I plan to take American Government this week. Could you give me some feedback. Is IC enough to pass? Good luck, kckusek

What about those FEMA courses? Never used them myself, but I know lots of people have. Do a search on these threads.
Good for you. I still have three to go. ![]()

If you can do the FEMA courses, that would be great. I have done about 20 courses so far. I am going to TESC and they award them as electives. Exelcsior only takes them from Frederick Comm College first but I haven't heard of either school denying credit for them.

Please don't get me wrong...IC is a wonderful tool and I am not bashing it BUT when I utilized just IC for Prin of Marketing and Am Gov, I failed them both by two. Alas, I paired IC with other resources and passed them both on the second go-round
I would like to stay with a CLEP course for this final elective as my last few classes for this degree are quite complicated and time consuming and I am familiar with the concept. Thanks Kat |

Kat - There may be very few courses and/or very few students that can master all that is required to pass an exam with just one source (IC or any other source). For me, I used IC, usually an REA or COMEX book (or both) any other book like Cliff's QuickReview -PLUS- a Standard Deviant Dvd/Vhs if available. For me, I wanted to go in sufficiently prepared and not risk failure. GOOD LUCK!!
