A christmas miracle!!! With 4 hours of sleep (due to programming homework), virtually no study (not recommended) and a cold, I was able to Ace the Excelsior College Writing Exam.
Key Factors 1. Understanding what the question requires you to write. 2. Do not try to go beyond your grammer and spelling capability. 3. Be mindful of the time, but don't let it freak you out. 4. Hit each point that they want you to respond to. 5. If your testing center has them, use ear plugs. Helped me concentrate. |

Biology
I just passed my 10th test (CLEP/DSST). I took and passed biology today with a 57. I am so glad this one is over. It was by far the hardest one I have taken but is certainly doable. I studied solidly for about 3 weeks. At least one hour a day every day. I supplemented IC with a couple of biology study aid books (study smart, etc). Next one up is college math. I think I am dreading this one just as much as biology.

AWESOME!! Yeah -- getting biology out of the way was one of the happiest days of my life.... College math? It was easier than biology for me.... Just study and you'll do fine. |
