Default Which TECEP

I am looking to take one of the following TECEP exams and am looking for advice on which ones might be easier, or if anyone has the testing materials for any of them:

Thanatology
Industrial Psychology
Intro to Social Psychology

Thanks,
Chuck

Hi Chuck,

I'll be taking Industrial Psychology next week. I'll let you know. I spoke to a lady at TESC and she said the pass rate is over 50%.

I got a 70 (60 is passing) on Industrial Psychology. Don't buy the first book they list. I did and it was nearly useless. IC's Human Resources was my best tool for this exam. There is a little bit from org beh also. I had already taken both so all I did was review, after three days of figuring out the text book didn't work. Not too bad of a test. Logical very few trick questions. Nothing like Ops Mgt.

I have not taken the TESCP, but I am taking the TESC course Social Psychology. I think if you have taken a handful of sociology and psychology courses you could do this with no problem. It wants to be it's own field, but it really does overlap in almost every way. The trick will be learning major contributors to the field, jargon, and probably having a bit of research method knowledge. My social psychology text book is surprisingly VERY VERY interesting!! I enjoy it very much- so if you want to invest in a book you could try this one:
Baron, Byrne, Branscombe. Social Psychology (probably any edition after 8-mine is 11th, publication 2006). Pearson.

Thanks for the info, I am scheduled to take TECEP Abnormal Psych next week and then Industrial Psych the week after that. I got a couple of the books, but I forget which ones and I don't have them here at the moment. Thanks again.
