Default jokers at excelsior trying to get my cash again

i just go my bill for my graduation fee and it was for $210, i was surprised because initially i thought it was going to be $250. Once i reviewed the itemized statement attached to it at had an optional $35 added to it as a gift to the college, They did this to me last time with my AAS. I did not think they would try this again. has anyone actually paid for this gift? I can't see any reason why you would considering you are paying them $170 to print up a diploma.

    Default One last parting shot.

Hey, I guess anything to get that last drop eh? You just graduated- shouldn't they be giving YOU a gift?

Here's what has me worried (hopefully Thursday is my last test)...
Recently they have screwed up 3 times in a row giving me bad academic advise. It resulted in extra and unnecessary classes. The initial fee is to evaluate your transcripts right?... The anual fee is to keep updated right?... Then why in the He!! do I have to pay $495 to have another evalution / (another chance for them to screw up)?.. just so they can say "ok we didn't mess up, here's your paper."
Isn't that what I paid them for all along- to evaluate my stuff?

...Can you post OR send me a PM and let me know how the graduation process streams along and what it consists of...and how long it typically takes. Thanks I really appreciate it.

OBJ, since I got my AAS from them in 2002, they have NOT stopped asking for a donation. It's the one thing about Excelsior that drives me nuts.

    Default How sweet it is.

Oh am I happy to hear that When Excelsior asks for a donation I'll tell them I'd love to help but since they screwed me with some bad advise, delayed my graduation by 6 months, and cost me several hundred dollars in unnecessary classes I can't afford to. All my money went there
Oh there is a silver lining- that just made my day.
