Default Cherry picking of grades at Excelsior

OK everyone, I officially did it. I submitted my request to remove all non-essential C grades from my Excelsior transcript. The deadline was Dec 31st.

This leaves me deficient now by 25 units of lower level, any area credits. This is where my good friend uncle same comes in to save the day. I plan to use as many FEMA courses (I have 7 so far) to boost my units and DANTES to boost my GPA. Does anyone know if the FEMA courses, which are awarded only "P" grades are averaged in to calculate GPA at Excelsior?

I also noticed a problem, they change the requirements of my program while I was awaiting my AS degree, and now I have additional requirements for my BS. Has this happened to anyone out there?

Appreciate your help.

If you're enrolled, the requirements should not change. If so, it may simply be an oversight. (As of my last evaluation, 9 previously-applied credits were no longer being applied to my major.)

Have fun with the FEMA courses. Finding some of those answers turned into a bit of a game for me.

I enrolled in Criminal Justice BS and then changed to Liberal Studies AS. After I got my AS I switched back to Criminal Justice BS. THat is apparently why they switched my requirements however I cant get a straight answer.

FEMA courses are my favorite. Once I realized that there was a method to quickly review the material while taking the exam, I really began to like the FEMA classes. I took three classes while in Mexico over Christmas break.

For me most of the material is review because I am in the field, but some is really interesting new material.
