In an effort to help upcoming students who have not enrolled figure out which external certs/training count toward college courses, I'd like to start this thread as a reference.
This should help people (like me) determine which schools will best fit their specific needs. I'll start with some information I've run across. Please note, this is for Specific Courses, not just amount of credit. This is from TESC regarding CompTIA A+, Network+, and i-net+ Quote:

Thanks, but I was actually looking for the specific courses they translate to.
For anyone looking, here is a list of the AMOUNT of credits that respective certifications are worth https://www.excelsior.edu/Excelsior_...ICATION_CREDIT Thomas Edison State College | Other Licenses and Certifications By the way, what is the difference between AP and AP Depth 2?? |

Ap is just an Applied Professional credit and I can't explain Depth 2, however, Snazzlefrag explains it well in this thread: http://www.instantcertonline.com/for...ighlight=depth

In my case, for TESC's BSBA CIS Program, My CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, MCSE, and MCDBA fulfill 13/18 requirements toward the CIS Major option, but they do not fulfill the Programming Language and Systems Analysis and Design requirements, an additional 3 credits would fulfill Business Electives.
However, I am looking into seeing if Penn Foster (ACE Certified) has transferrable Self-Paced classes that would adhere to the requirements. The BMI for Excelsior (Business MIS) is almost the exact opposite. 5/18 requirements toward the MIS Major are fulfilled, and an additional 10-11 credits fulfill Business Electives.
