Default Excelsior Business Degree- Math Requirement

Does anyone know what the all of the options are for the 3 credit math course that needs to be at the precalculus level or above?

Does "DANTES business math" exam qualify? I don't even know if it is easier than college algebra, but I would like to know what the options are.

From what I have read on this board, your only options are Clep Algebra or Dantes Statistics.

I am in the valley of pain over algebra myself. The search mechanism works really well on this board to view study materials.

Best Wishes,

Actually, for the Business degree, DANTES Statistics will NOT meet the math requirement (although statistics is a requirement as well).

You can take CLEP College Algebra (or higher), or you can take a full course at a regionally accredited university, or you can take Penn Foster's Technical Math I course.

Hope that helps,

Technical Math I may be my ticket for the pre-calculus + requirment. Thanks!

I am pretty sure I could warm up with and pass the CLEP College Mathematics test for 6 credits. Would this count as a natural science/math elective for the Business degree?

Curious about that as well. Searched for it, and can't find it, and getting an answer from them is like pulling teeth (yeah, I know, I picked the school lol).
