PriTyan,
Yes, that OB coursenote website is the one that I was thinking about - Mr. Ratzburg. It looks pretty good. That other info on the pass rate looks interesting. I had to laugh when I saw the pass rate for the ECE statistics test - 12%. When I signed up with ECE, the person at ECE told me that I was very brave to take that test! Thanks for the confidence booster, ECE.
I only did the pre-test Dantes OB questions, but they seemed MUCH easier than the questions in the OB Excelsior Content Guide's sample questions - as indicated by my scores on the two samples. It really seems as though the ECE test asks a lot more specific questions than does the DSST.
I know how you must feel. It must be difficult to fail when you think that you had the correct answers. It's one thing to fail when you know that you guessed...
All I can really offer is to study and try to do better next time. I do think that ENOUGH of the ECE required info is actually in the IC material, but you have to remember almost all of it - the ECE test question may revolve around part of the incidental answer in the IC material. That's why I took notes - so that I'd remember all of the incidental stuff. I can't really claim that it made a huge difference, or that's why I passed and you didn't (it could just be luck), but I DID notice in the ECE HRM test, that on many of the questions that I didn't know, the answer really WAS in the IC material. I just don't think that the IC material was well laid-out FOR ME.
Here's another link to a glossary of OB terms - hope this helps:
