I have taken both and found them to be about the same in level of difficulty. I remember passing both with decent scores , after studying for 24 actual hours of studying on each subject. If you have taken U.S. History 1 then I'd take the U.S. history 2 course. Don't take either one lightly. Good luck and be prepared and you'll do great. Also, I did utilize Instantcert as my only study aid.
