You might consider English Lit. or American Lit.......as I recall, about a third of the stuff on those exams is testing your vocabulary and asking you to interpret passages. Since you've passed A&I Lit, you might not have too much trouble with these.
What I'd suggest is that you read a good high school English literature book and an American lit. book that cover the basics, and then take a look at each and every piece mentioned on the CLEP practice exam and read the book summary of it on SparkNotes: Today's Most Popular Study Guides.
