Natural Science CLEP
I just took the NS exam 2 days ago and failed -- and I studied what I thought to be the right information! I used another site's "resources" which told me that basically with their guide and flashcards, I'd be learning what is on the test and that they have a 99% success rate. I am guessing the 1% are those who take Natural Sciences. I was devastated! It was extremely difficult, in my opinion. I would study a long time and know the principles behind processes (mitosis, meosis, translation, transcription, enzymes, glycosis), genetics, diseases, and be able to read and understand graphs and charts that show different experiental data, chemical reactions, etc. It was not enough for me to be able to know facts (and I knew about 300 flashcards inside and out.
I am trying the Biology clep now and after finding this forum I've gotten some great ideas for what to study. Something someone recommended to me was the book Biology Smart by Deborah Guest. Another great thing is to purchase Peterson's practice tests. I've heard that if you can pass them, you can pass the clep.
