Call back and get a second opinion- I think they reversed what happened. The DSST didn't change, the CLEP did. The CLEP used to be classified as business, but is now math/sciences. The DSST was and still is business. But, now there are 2 computer exams that duplicate each other, so you can only take one.
TESC OLD: CLEP ISCA was CIS101 (business)
TESC NEW: CLEP ISCA is now COS101 (math/sciences) which DUPLICATES credit of DSST Intro to Computing COS101.
DSST Management Information Systems is still listed as business (CIS301) not math/sciences.
DSST Intro to computing COS101- I have no info-but I can confirm that my COS101 (earned through CLEP) is in fact a science credit.
This could be good news for you!

"Brick walls are there for a reason. The brick walls are not there to keep us out. The brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something. Because the brick walls are there to stop the people who don’t want it badly enough. They’re there to stop the other people.” Randy Pausch
